Waxing Brands Used

What is Soft wax and why would I use it?

Berodin (BEAR-oh-din) is the brand and their product, AQUA, is the SOFT WAX I use. It is spread onto prepared skin very thinly and it does not harden. A piece of material is then placed over the strip of wax and this is what removes the hair.

Soft wax is best for larger body parts like, back, chest, legs, and clean-up strips as necessary.

What is Hard wax and why would I use it?

Mermaid is the brand of HARD WAX used and this product is called, CALYPSO. This hard wax is applied to prepared skin. When the strip itself is hardened it is used to remove the hair.

Hard wax is preferred on delicate body parts like, face, eyebrow, and intimate areas.

What to know before and after all wax services:

Please, no "intimate relations" 24 hours pre OR post any wax service. The hair is pulled from the papillary layer where your blood supply is and if "fluids" get into those open pores... trust me, no bueno.

The length of the hair needed waxing is about your hair growth speed and turnover. If you have questions about this, text me a picture.

DO NOT JUDGE your first wax by the first service. Remember, the hair comes from the papillary layer; where, capillaries and nerves live. This means, you WILL feel it. HOWEVER, my techniques lessen the sting - trust me and the process. WE will get through it together.

When the hair is removed from the root, the hair bulb that regenerates, is smaller, thinner, and weaker. Meaning, it will not hurt HALF as much as the first service.

ABSOLUTLEY NORMAL RESPONCES to waxing bumps, redness, pimples, itching, breakouts, and stubble. Please, do your best to not scratch, pick, or pop any of these!! You will scar from picking... I promise. Call/text me and we set up a time so I can treat it.

I will do my best and get you as hairless as possible. However, if you point out a single missed hair (after the service) I will immediately stop, terminate your service, and escort you out of the building.

Facial Services

What to do before, during, and after, your facial.

When booked, a non-refundable deposit of $50.00 is taken. However, it IS applied to the total of the service. Before your facial, dress comfortably and please arrive a few minutes early as to not cut into your facial time! When you arrive, I will instruct you to disrobe from the waist up, lie down on the treatment table, and I will lay a blanket across you. During the facial, I preform an upper back, shoulder, neck, and facial massage so please inform me of any injuries in this area.

First Timer

This is me and your skin's first date. We get to meet each other, ask what our likes and dislikes are, and get to know each other. This facial introduces products and modalities used to obtain all your skin's hopes and dreams.

Outta Control!

This facial is for those who have mild or moderate acne. The ingredients used are targeted for oil absorption then will balance the ratio giving you soft skin with the acid mantel restored. After a consecutive amount this service, it will evolve to targeting hyperpigmentation. What's the amount? Depends on you and your amount of commitment.

So Thirsty!

Is your skin thirsty and possibly flaking? This is your service. Let the products plump the skin to hydrate and soften it. My potions will elevate the skin to perfect hydration levels and once that happens, I can seal it in and stop TEWL (trans epidermal water loss).

Don't B So Sensitive

Rosacea? Don't care! I have extremely gentle products and services for that, too. It's not about "toughing up" the skin. It's about getting to a level to hold onto hydration and keep the skin hydrated and healthy.
